Fictional Cocktail

Shaken or stirred? Do I look like I give a damn………..it’s Sunday, and it simply has to be uncomplicated!
If that’s the way you want it, then just open a premium bottled Vesper Martini from Myatt’s Fields Cocktails, and enjoy it the ‘James Bond-way’ in a cocktail glass garnished with a lemon twist .

The Vesper is purely fictional, a cocktail created in 1953 by Ian Fleming in his first novel about the most well-known ’00-agent’ in the history. Actually, it’s the first martini that James Bond ordered in the ’00-universe’, and that he named after the first literally Bond-babe from Casino Royale; Vesper Lynd.
Exactly as Bond when wearing his fine tuxedos, then we’re fond of fine cocktails. This Vesper Martini cocktail doesn’t let us down. The Lillet and quinine infusion give the cocktail the appropriate fruity-sweetness as a perfectly contrast to the bitter character of the dry gin. Exactly as intended, then the vodka adds some extra ‘booziness’ that you normally not find in a well composed a gin-based cocktail.

Thanks Myatt’s Fields Cocktails for at wonderful Sundays serving of this legendary Bond-Martini -for a moment we actually were James Bond and Vesper Lynd, even if only for a moment. Looking forward to see what universes that your ‘Dempsey’ and ‘Negroni’ will bring to our tiresome blogger life.
